A Very Nexus Xmas - Online White Elephant Exchange
We’re celebrating the holidays with our Online White Elephant!
Here’s how it works:
You don’t need to supply a gift. All of the gifts will be supplied by us and will range in value from $20 to $200! Participants simply pay a $25 entry fee.
Participants can sign up now until 10pm on December 20th and the event will go live on December 21st and end on December 24th (or sooner). All of the action will be on our Discord server and will be active between 10am and 10pm each day.
At the start of the event, participants will be assigned a random turn order. We will announce the start of each participants turn on our Discord server in a special channel. That participant will then have 60 minutes to either choose a gift or steal a gift from another participant.
When a gift is stolen, the target of the theft will then have 60 minutes to open a new gift or steal a gift in turn. This will continue until all stolen gifts have been resolved, at which point we’ll move on to the next player. If a player fails to respond to their turn, they will be moved 5 places down the turn list.
Once a gift has been stolen three times, it becomes “Locked” and may no longer be stolen.
Once all of the participants have selected a gift, the very first player will be allowed to trade gifts with any other player holding an unlocked gift.
