What is Heroscape?

 

Heroscape is a fast-paced and strategic tabletop strategy game where players assemble characters from across space for their army, and time and battle on fully customizable 3D terrain. With a mix of tactical combat, unique abilities, and dynamic landscapes, skirmishes are filled to the brim with strategic possibilities and exciting battles. Join the tournament to test your skills and see who commands the ultimate army!

 

This December, we'll be hosting a Battle of All Time Tournament, but you'll be using the Delta Points system to build your army. This gives some of Heroscape's weaker units a chance to shine, thanks to their lowered point cost. Come show off your favorite underappreciated figures!

 

When and Where?

 

Our December tournament will be on December 13th, at 11:00 a.m. It will last until 3:00 p.m.

 

It will take place at Nexus Gaming Lounge, inside of the Sikes Senter Mall. Mall doors will be open by 10:30 am.

 

The Format for this tournament is:

 

All Time - Standard - Delta

500 Point Armies

Figure Limit: 16   Hex Limit: 24

 

All Time: 

Players may use any figure released in Heroscape (With the exception of Marvel).
 

Standard: 

Fight until time runs out, or one player has lost all figures in their army. There are no further rules or win-conditions to consider when building an army.
 

Delta:

Rather than using the Point Value listed on the card, we will be using the fan-made balance adjustments.

500 Point Limit:

Your army may only include figures whose cumulative Point Value is equal to or less than 500.
 

Figure Limit: 16

Your army may only include 16 figures at maximum.
 

Hex Limit: 24

Your army may not take up more than 24 tiles while on the battlefield.

 

Entry Cost and Prizing:

 

It will cost $15 per person to participate in the tournament.

 

Top two players will receive store credit. The amount received depends on the number of participants.

Additionally, if the number of participants exceeds 8, then store credit will also be issued to the third place player.

 

The tournament will support up to 12 players. Sign ups will be on the Renegade’s Play Heroscape website.
