Heroscape Tournament Saturday April 11
What is Heroscape?
The Battle of All Time! Valkyrie Generals have summoned warriors from across time and space to battle for control of a powerful resource called the Wellspring. Players will act as generals in this conflict by building armies and battling it out on modular 3D terrain.
Devastate your opponent with Heroes that boast powerful abilities, or squads that will outnumber and outmaneuver their forces. Join the Battle for the Wellspring to test your skills and see who commands the ultimate army!
For April, we're hosting an All-Time Betrayal Tournament! At the start of each round, both players will lay out their Army Cards. Each will simultaneously choose an Army Card of their opponents, and steal it for their own army.
In such a battle, you can't build your army around one specific Hero or Squad, because doing so will make that an easy choice for your opponent to nab. Think hard about the build you bring, and plan around losing any key part of your army.

When and Where?
This tournament will be on Saturday, April 11th, at 11:00 a.m. It will last until 3:00 p.m. Players are encouraged to arrive at 10:45 a.m. to have time to set up.
It will take place at Nexus Gaming Lounge, inside of the Sikes Senter Mall. Mall doors will be open by 10:30 am.
The Format for this tournament is:
All Time - Betrayal
550 Point Armies
Figure Limit: 24 Hex Limit: 24
All Time:
Players may use any figure released in Heroscape (With the exception of Marvel).
Betrayal:
As stated above, players will steal one Army Card from their opponent’s army before the battle. Fight until time runs out, or one player has lost all figures in their army. There are no further rules or win-conditions to consider when building an army.
550 Point Limit:
Your army may only include figures whose cumulative Point Value is equal to or less than 550.
Figure Limit: 24
Your army may only include 24 figures at maximum.
Hex Limit: 24
Your army may not take up more than 24 tiles while on the battlefield.

Entry Cost and Prizing:
It will cost $15 per person to participate in the tournament.
Top two players will receive store credit. The amount received depends on the number of participants.
Additionally, if the number of participants exceeds 8, then store credit will also be issued to the third place player.
The tournament will support up to 12 players. Sign ups will be on the Renegade’s Play Heroscape website.
