What is ALIEN RPG? Alien RPG is a tabletop role-playing game set in the dark, survival-focused universe of the Alien franchise, where players assume roles such as space truckers, colonial marines, and scientists facing the deadly threats of xenomorphs and other space hazards. Utilizing the Year Zero Engine, the game employs a pool of six-sided dice to resolve actions, with players rolling dice based on their skills and attributes, seeking successes (sixes). A unique stress mechanic adds tension, increasing both success chances and the likelihood of panic-induced failures. The game features two modes: Cinematic mode for high-stakes one-shots with pre-generated characters, and Campaign mode for longer-term play and character development. Alien RPG delivers an immersive experience of horror, strategy, and rich storytelling in the iconic Alien universe.

 

Using the nail-biting ALIEN RPG system, Chapter 2 of the Draconis Trilogy focuses on a group of Colonial Marines facing down a rising UPP insurgency on a oil-drilling moon that is being evacuated by the United Americas. Darker secrets lie within the truths that will be revealed as they search for a group of AWOL Marines who have top secret military intelligence about the operations at Fort Nebraska.
