Call of Cthulhu is set in a darker version of our world based on H. P. Lovecraft's observation that "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear, and the strongest kind of fear is fear of the unknown." The original edition, first published in 1981, uses Basic Role-Playing as its basis and is set in the 1920s, the setting of many of Lovecraft's stories. It is a skill-based game, where player characters get better with their skills by succeeding at using them for as long as they stay functionally healthy and sane.
Join us on Tuesdays from 6 - 10pm as investigators go on a wild ride across Europe as they attempt to search for pieces of an ancient artifact while a mysterious cult tries to stop them in Horror on the Orient Express.
Join us on Wednesday from 6 - 10pm as Cthulhu takes on a Wild Weird West theme when a hunt for a fugitive murderer leads the investigators into a mystery involving odd townsfolk, strange lights in the sky, walking corpses, and the machinations of a once-powerful and ancient race seeking to reclaim their lost glory in Shadows over Stillwater.
Or join us on Saturdays from 5-9pm as investigators are brought together in a sweeping adventure that will take them from 1925 New York to London, Cairo, Nairobi, and Shanghai as they attempt to deal with the threat of the ancient god Nyarlathotep in Masks of Nyarlathotep.
